Extensive ADHD Drug Screening Procedure
The RFM-123 Screening Procedure helps to evaluate patients/drug users if treatment of ADHD drugs (i.e. Ritalin, Vyvanse, Adderall) is appropriate to administer to an individual.

In three steps, drug administrators (i.e. physicians, nurses, pharmacists, etc) can determine if the patient/user has ADHD/ADD and ADHD drugs will help. The current process in obtaining ADHD drugs is not protected and secured - 18+ people can easily obtain ADHD drugs just by indicating to the drug administrators that they have trouble focusing/paying attention, but no form of verification is necessary.
1. Vanderbilt ADHD Assessment Scale
The Vanderbilt ADHD Assessment Scale is considered the most extensive and accurate assessment scale to determine signs of ADHD.
It is an inexpensive, paper assessment that takes roughly 15-20 minutes to complete for patient and is free to access for all healthcare professionals/drug administrators
2. Standardized ADHD Prognostic Exam
The Standardized ADHD Prognostic Exam serves to provide drug administrators to evaluate the severity and extent the symptoms the patient/individual states in the first assessment scale.

ADDitude provides various free standardized ADHD exams for users, and exams are scored and evaluated to determine user's symptoms, such as difficulty w/ paying attention, focusing, reading, etc.

Using standardized ADHD prognostic exams allows healthcare providers/drug administrators to understand and see the severity of symptoms within the patient. The exams can serve to decide correct dosages of ADHD drugs required for patients.
The first prognostic exam serves as a baseline test. If patient returns, asking for higher doses of their current ADHD drug prescription, another exam can be compared and evaluated to their baseline exam.
3. Authentication/Verification Form Submission
The form is testament/verification from a guardian, educator/teacher, friend, mentor, employer that indicates their observation on the patient individual.

Main questions on the form include:
1. Have you noticed any of the following symptoms in the individual: trouble focusing, paying attention, trouble following text and reading, etc.
2. If so, in what setting have you seen the individual with those symptoms?
3. Have these symptoms been consistent or infrequent?

Form also requires authenticator's signature and relationship to individual. Forms can be picked up from any healthcare facility to be completed or completed online, but forms must be sent by authenticator by email/fax, or in person.
Feasibility
The extensive screening procedure is inexpensive and a relatively quick procedure for the patient and drug adminstrator. In addition, it is a non-invasive procedure but still yields accurate results in determining patient need for treatment.
Impact
Proper and extensive ADHD/ADD screening for prescription and testing for dosages will help to reduce the misuse/abuse culture currently prevalent among students.

Conclusion
Ultimately, our program will help to equalize academic opportunity by standardizing cognitive enhancement drug protocol to allocate it to only those in need.
